David P. Ferrainolo

Managing Partner

With almost two decades of experience as an attorney, David P. Ferrainolo has carved a name for himself in medical malpractice defense (among other areas of practice) in Florida. He excels at handling high-exposure and high-stake litigations with a calm, client-centric approach and finding comprehensive solutions to complex legal problems.

David P. Ferrainolo attained his legal education in Pennsylvania. He received his bachelor’s degree from one of the top colleges in the state (University of Pittsburg) and his law degree from Duquesne University. He started his legal career in Las Vegas, where he joined a National Healthcare Defense Firm and in less than a decade, he moved to Florida to establish a Florida presence for that firm. He became a partner in the firm and one of the top medical malpractice defense lawyers in Tampa, Florida. While Dave has a multitude of successful medical malpractice defense cases to his name, his legal expertise spans far beyond that.

As the managing partner of Ferrainolo Law Group, Dave brings his 19 years of experience serving professionals and businesses in a wide range of litigations. That includes general liability and premises liability claims, negligent security and hiring claims, and sexual misconduct by employees.

What makes Dave different is that he understands and wants to understand what his clients go through. His work entails more than just winning cases. He helps his clients get through some of the most challenging litigation cases that can cause irreparable damage, and in the midst of this high-stress environment, Dave helps his clients make smart decisions.

The confidence and calm he instills in his clients help them through the grueling court procedures while ensuring minimal to no damage to their reputation, which may hinder their ability to run a profitable business (or practice).

Dave’s legal expertise spans beyond his ability to conduct a successful trial. He has extensive experience with pre-trial negotiation, handling mediations, and conducting settlement conferences. His ability to handle complex lawsuits makes him the last line of defense for professionals and businesses that are on the verge of financial and reputation disaster due to a lawsuit.

Associate

Julie’s passion for health law has helped her attain the skills and expertise required to defend medical professionals and institutions against lawsuits that are way beyond her years. She understands the nuances of the healthcare industry and helps her clients navigate the complex and delicate healthcare lawsuits with success.

Julie attained her bachelor’s degree (BA) in Political Science from Lee University and graduated summa cum laude. She then attended Indiana University, where she attained her JD with a health law certificate. But her interest in healthcare goes back further. She was equally interested in healthcare and law when she was in college, and in the end, she focused on health law.

She pursued her interest in health law with singular motivation, and her activities, memberships, and study focus all rotated around health law. She started her professional career with a National Healthcare Defense firm (in 2016) and was an important asset to the firm in their healthcare litigation and defense activities.

Julie is a trained and experienced trial lawyer, and her case preparations and negotiation skills are more comprehensive than what simply the court can prepare an attorney for. Her passion and intimate understanding of the healthcare system make her a valuable asset to the firm’s healthcare defense unit.
