Mary “Beth” Fournier-Widmer RN

Beth spent her entire life in Toledo Ohio and was a bedside nurse at The Toledo Hospital for over 35 years.  Most of her experience was in critical care, spending over 15 years in the surgical intensive care unit functioning as a bedside and charge nurse and precepting new nurses.  She also instructed CPR and  ACLS for 20 years, being on the code and trauma teams and ultimately ending her bedside career as one of the initial IV and PICC nurses at the 800 bed facility, before changing her career path to legal nursing upon moving to Florida in 2014.  

Beth graduated from the Toledo Hospital School of nursing in 1977, working at The Toledo Hospital until an early retirement package was offered in 2013, facilitating her dream of relocating to Florida.  She also obtained her Ohio Massage Therapy License in 1996, maintaining a private practice for therapeutic massage therapy, in addition to her full time work as an RN.

Beth started her legal nursing career with Dave Ferrainolo in 2014, assisting him in the Tampa and Pensacola offices while working with a National Healthcare Defense Firm.  Her extensive nursing knowledge and ability to sort through volumes of medical records makes her invaluable for drafting chronologies and memos and retaining appropriate experts for our clients.  She was happy to follow Dave to his new role as managing partner of Ferrainolo Law Group in 2021.  She made the change from fulltime status to “retired/per-diem/part time” in 2022, to be able to spend more time with her retired husband and large family but can’t seem to give up working altogether.
